Brittany Forsythe, Browns Mills NJ killed in Virginia crash

Two New Jersey residents die in Halifax County crash

Virginia State Police have identified the two victims of a fatal crash that occurred on November 15 in Halifax County. They are Corey Wetmore, 28, and Brittany Forsythe, 26, both from New Jersey.

The crash happened in the 1000 block of Howard Anderson Highway, where Wetmore was driving a GMC Envoy southbound. Police say he lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and crashed into several trees. The SUV then rolled over and fell down an embankment.

Wetmore and Forsythe were not wearing seatbelts and died at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
