Richmond City Virginia Employee struck and killed by tree

A tree fell on a Richmond City employee in Libby Hill Park, killing him. The incident happened on Thursday, Sept. 14, around 11:30 a.m. Police and fire crews arrived at the scene and freed the man from under the tree. He was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he did not survive. The victim’s name has not been released by the authorities.
