Amazon truck accident kills man in Racine County, WI

A tragic Amazon truck accident claimed the life of a man and injured his daughter in Racine County, WI on September 24, 2023. The man and his 12-year-old daughter were riding a motorcycle on Highway K when an Amazon delivery truck, driven by an allegedly impaired employee of a third-party company, failed to yield at the intersection with the I-41 frontage road in Raymond. The motorcycle and the truck collided, killing the man and seriously injuring the girl. No one else was hurt in the crash. The authorities are investigating the incident and considering charges of homicide by vehicle, drug use, and driving with restricted substances in blood against the truck driver.
